Downtown LA Walkabout #5
On my quest to lose weight and be healthy I have been going on walks through various Downtown LA districts almost every morning. Today I walked through the Fashion District and shot some photos. Here are a few highlights:

BarCamp LA 5
I made my over to AOL's office in Beverly Hills and shot some photos of BarCamp LA 5. I would have liked to stay longer, but I was pretty beat from the search yesterday. I didn't shoot portraits this year, but Dan Tentler stepped up to the plate and handled it. Here are a few of the shots I took:

5 Things You Didn't Know About Me
Well, I've been too busy to blog recently due to several large projects that I'm working on concurrently, but I figured I would respond to this 5 things meme, as Siel of Green LA Girl tagged me.
- I lived in South Africa for a year when I was 6 years old.
- I only drink coffee on ice (and some times it's not even fair trade!)
- I make my cats dance, but I think they like it.
- My first job out of High School was designing rave flyers.
- I want to retire in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Los Angeles From an Auto : Part 5
I just posted up the 5th part of the LA From an Auto series over on LA Voice. You can check out the new google map with many more locations here. Here are the first four parts: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4.

iPhoto 5 Doesn't Suck
So I have been using the new iPhoto 5 for about a week now and I am really happy with its performance. It is much faster than iPhoto 4, especially with my 5,200+ high res images. The Adjust widget permits me to adjust my photos without having to open them in photoshop (which I can do now easily too). The comment typing bug has been fixed. The search and smart folders rock. [Ed's Note: I should proofread and edit what I write.]
